Mark Lackey (our lab manager) and Annelore Stroobants (from the Efremov lab) hosted an amazing garden party for Annelore's birthday.
Most of the Tompa lab appeared at the party to celebrate Annelore on her birthday.
The Tompa lab participates on the SBB Department retreat in Blankenberge
Our department Structural Biology Brussels (SBB) organized a 3-day department retreat with scientific and team building programs in Blankenberge from 1-3 June 2022.
We had nice weather, great programs and plenty of fun!
Celebration of the the degronon paper reaching 'Acceptance' in Communications Biology
On 24th February 2022, the Tompa lab and the alumni co-authors (Mainak Guharoy and Mauricio Macossay Castillo) celebrated the acceptance of the Communications Biology paper about degronons in the Opinio bar. Congrats to Mainak, Tamas, Mauricio and Peter!

Celebration of contract extensions and publications
On September 30th 2021, we celebrated Peter Tompa's contract extension and our recently published articles.
Congratulation to Peter and to Junaid, Attila, Tamas, Nazanin, Donya, Anna, Joris, Fernando & Phuong for their papers from the past half a year.
Peter Tompa's goulash dinner
In June 2021, Peter Tompa organized an open-air Hungarian goulash soup cooking for the lab members interested and available.
It was a wonderful afternoon / evening with authentic Hungarian dinner and drinks. Even few Tompa lab alumni showed up!
